Cynthia Connor Wagenhauser, LISW, is a clinical social worker, mental health therapist, speaker, advocate and social media educator in the field of narcissistic abuse, complex PTSD, depression and destructive marriages. She is the owner of Deep Roots Family Therapy in Toledo, Ohio and is a graduate of Lourdes University with a Bachelor of Social Work degree and a Certificate in Gerontology.

After five years practicing as a social worker, she returned to school and graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Master of Social Work degree. She has been a Clinical Social Worker for 30+ years and loves meeting new people, the challenges clients present and the satisfaction of seeing people grow and heal emotionally and relationally.

 Her primary focus of treatment has varied from children/adolescents with behavioral and emotional disorders, to individual’s experiencing anxiety and depressive disorders to her favorite modality of family therapy for individuals and families who have experienced the trauma of mental illness and/or personality disorders in a sibling, parent or partner.

Cynthia survived an emotionally destructive marriage, experienced deliverance/healing and is happily remarried. She has three wonderful kids.

 Cynthia is a strong advocate for the safety/treatment of families impacted by domestic violence and mental health in both the church and secular world.
